Ronald S. Oseas, 55, died Tuesday.
He was born Dec. 24, 1946, in Chicago. A retired physician, he was a 13-year resident of Henderson and co-founder of Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Catherine; both of Henderson; sons, Matthew of Sacramento, Calif., and David and Aaron, both of Henderson; mother, Natalie; and sister, Arleene Van Elgort; both of Woodland Hills, Calif.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery. Burial will follow. The family requests memorial donations be made to Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.

i realize this is an old postiing, but this is the first ive heard of him passing! he was my oncologist in 1998 and one of my favorite people.

He was my son's oncologist 1992-1997!! My son is almost 23 now,he was 4 at the time it all started...Dr. Oseas always said he "did graduations but not funerals." We had moved out of the Las Vegas area, but planned to invite him to Chris' graduation in 2006...didn't happen. :o( He was wonderful!

Dr.seas saved my life So thank u its been 19 years since he treated me. He never beat around the bush straight to the point. He was a great dr. So thank u dr.oseas and thanks jenn for blogging about him we will all miss him thanks .david yoder
