The new year means it is time to find my new One Little Word. I have thought long and hard this year. I wanted a word that included strangth, and growth, and could be a focus as I continue to face this new life. Something that would capture the feelings of not being invisible, of giving myself permission to go forward and find new ways to bring good things into our lives.

I saw the word "emerge", and I knew it was perfect for what I needed. It is 2014. A new phase of my life has begun. New things are happening. Struggles are still there, but it is time to live beyond the barriers of fear and worry. It is time to emerge.
